Board Development Day
The Merseyside SAB held a development day in the Performance Space in the Bluecoat Chambers, Liverpool, on Friday 23rd March 2018.
Members of the board, sub-groups together with task and finish groups were welcomed by Sue Redmond, the independent chair of the board, who highlighted this event as an opportunity for all to contribute to the future development of the board. Sue then introduced our guest speakers Dave and Kate, from Daisy UK a local charity who support and encourage disabled across Merseyside to live fulfilled lives. Dave and Kate gave a powerful presentation of their personal experience of hate crime and hostility endured daily by people who have a disability.
