Regional Hate Crime Awareness Week

This year Merseyside Police will join together with other regional forces to raise the awareness of hate crime during the month of February, which is also Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) History month. The week of action, which runs between Monday 4th February through to Sunday 11th February, will commence with a launch event at Liverpool Parish Church on Tuesday 5th February from 10.00am. Tackling hate crime is key to supporting people, communities and community cohesion. It is something we should all take very seriously and support. By attending the hate crime event you are showing your community you are committed to eradicating hate crime.
